Just updated my bios to 2626 for my 4SDA+ and now my temps are.
28 deg idle
36 deg under load
that is pretty insane. But sweet, I should be able to get a good low temp overclock now.

wonders how a bios update could result in lower temps...?
also, what speed setting you got your 7+ running at?

that is on the slowest setting.
the fan runs at about 3000rpm. its barely auidable over my 4 80mm 12v fans running at 7v

I think one of the bios fix's was the temps being mis reported for the CPU.
My northbridge temps have stayed the same.

ooh, if thats on the low setting then those are nice temps indeed :)
Yeh, if the ambient temps nice and cool I usually turn my v7+ down to low.... very silent....
I was getting 46*C load on the low setting the other night... not too bad for a OC'd 1800+

Might just have to clock it back up to 2.25 and see how it goes.
I have never run the fan on anything above the low setting, its way tooooooo loud. And seems to run cool enough at low speed, with the case fans running at 7v its a reasonably quiet rig.
