Sk6+

iv orderd an SK6+ without a fan.. thinking that my AMD stock fan would fit on it... will it..:confused: .. im thinking theres no reason it shouldent.. but it said that the braket was for 25mm thick fans.

and dose anyone have an SK6+, how is it, does it keep your steamy athlon nice and cool?

well, it arived. and just incase anyone out there is curious about the SK6+ . Its wonderful, i can safly say i will be geting a Detla fan soon, being that the 60mm stock fan is way way to thin, infact even my 60mm case fan was too thin for the brackets it came with, but with alittle bending i managed to slip the stock fan on nicly, and i will be keeping the Delta fans brackets in a safe place. the Heat sink i very easy to put on, alot easyier than the stock coolers, my cpu temps have gone from about 47 c under load ( very close or over 70c on die) at 144 FSB to 38 c under load at 150 FSB and about 35 - 36 c idle so its around 50 C on die. and this is all with an overclocked 2000+ palamino at 1.88GHz.

but for anyone out there i highly recomend u get Delta 60mm fan with it.

Which delta? The singer? the mobo? or the fan? They are all capable of making sounds u know :rolleyes:

You should probably re-read the thread NTblowz, hes talking about buying a Delta fan for the Sk6 .. unless he is going to screw the motherboard on top of his HS.

please, don't get a delta, you will regret it,

you are best of getting a 120mm fan and ducting it down, therefore you get way more airflow than a small delta and way way less noise.

I have the original SK6 and i've loved every second of it. The delta is one loud mofo, but yes, you can fit stock fans on them- mine is- and they do quite well together. My case fans pick up the rest of the slack. ;)
