Next Upgrade?

CPU too slow? Got an itch for watercooling ( heh, I just went wet... )? Speakers not grunty enough? What will YOU be upgrading next?

Me? I'm pretty happy with my rig. I've just gone watercooling, and I've just upgraded the 'family rig's' CPU, RAM and HDD. But for my rig? My headphones aren't good enough - Koss UR-30's beware! I'm hunting you......

A little further down the track I'll probably upgrade my RAM, CPU and secondary HDD. Maybe monitor as well. But that's likely all I'll bother upgrading this year. ( but cheap deals crossing my path will likely change all that - they always do.... ;) )

Hehe, just bought a new CD Writer, I'll put it in as soon as I get home...after that I'm gonna have to get a new mobo+CPU+RAM....

well i just bought a new hdd and ram so i wont have to buy either of those for a while, so i guess next upgrade will most likely be a gf4 but not for sometime yet (maybe when doom 3 comes out )

Well I've just done my annual upgrades. I'll be upgrading again next year, unless L3 #.. uhm .. not sure forces me to do stuff, such as getting Window mods and so on.

Maybe a bigger hard drive, and an Acoustic Edge.

Waste of time me going for upgraded graphics, as I can't be sure that they'd work with my mobo (lost $100 on a GeF4 MX already, coz it wouldn't work).

Well my GameTheatre XP arrived today. :D

Getting a Maxtor 80GB at L3 (thanks SerN), and then in two weeks it's another stick of Corsair goodness, then the rest of my H2O gear, and.... and.... :D

A new PSU is a must, I will be unlocking my XP1600+ and my Hyena 300w won't take the strain.

I just got a cdrw and GF2 Ti (both 2nd hand), a new vid card will be in the books in a little while, I will see when Doom3 and UT2003 come out. As for anything else I think I'm pretty sweet for a now.

New PSU..... only a 350watt enermax coz I am po'.....just made the transfer to to the eva helpfull Griffin 5 mins ago....... and then a new mobo sometime in the near future...... thinking of an EPoX but they is spensive :( and I am still so po' :(

I just upgraded my PSU to an Enermax 550watt EG651P-VE, it's a nice dark blue colour and of course has the fancy gold gills.

Next will be a 80GB Western Digital 7200rpm with 8MB cache :D
