I am having troube with the internet on my machine, about every 2mins or sometimes quicker the net connection fails on MY COMPUTER. All the other computers are fine, and I can still access the other computers on the network.

After I unplug and plug back in my network cable all is fine again, until it happens again.

I have a Netgear FA311 but the old drivers for the Realtek are still on as well as the Netgear ones.

We are using a dynalink router connected to a 8 port 100mbit switch via uplink

Get rid of the Realtek drivers...wouldnt that be screwing with it? Logic says yes.

h=Thanks guyz, I think I've found the problem. I traced the cable and first of all it was bent in a door. Freed it and straightened it out a little. The net worked for a couple of seconds. Then haqd a look at the switch and my cable wasn't even in properly. It was curled around and was in on an angle. Hopefully one of these days I can get a good 10m cable. Unfortuanetly the cable that I use for Lans and what not is only 5m and wont reach the switch
